CNC programming - milling and turning

The ZW3D 2xMaching module enables both the design of 3D models ( capabilities of the ZW3D Lite module ). It also allows you to generate machining on milling machines up to 2.5 axes and 2-axis lathes . 2xMachining CAD tools also allow you to create solid models and surface models using traditional operations:

• lane, profile,
• pulling through rotation, crust,
• rounding
• chamfering,
• pruning,
• sharing by objects.

The 2xMachining module provides CNC programming and allows you to speed up your work by using the functions of patterns, scale and copying elements. The CAM tools contained in this module offer extensive 3D design possibilities.

1. Many possibilities of making a hole , using functions such as:

• drilling,
• drilling with chip breaking,
• countersink drilling
• rifling

2. A tool that automates hole machining in the form of automatic drilling tactics

3. 2.5 axis CNC milling

• Generating toolpaths in profile , spiral, zigzag, parallel and helical machining.
• Processing mills the shaped curves and bevelled.
• Detection of material residue during milling.
• Automatic detection and bypassing the handles.
• Automatic milling tactics in 2.5 axes.

4. Turning

• Turning operations on the outer and inner diameter of the 3D model.
• Generate tool paths from right to left and from left to right when turning.
• Seven operations to perform the work from start to finish - turning, face planning, roughing and finishing, grooving, threading and parting off.
• You can create your own tools or use a library of standardized tools in all turning operations.

5. Generating NC codes + postprocessor generator

The CAM program can be adapted to your machine.

• Generating toolpaths in profile, spiral, zigzag, parallel and helical machining.

6. Indexed machining

The ZW3D 2xMaching module includes indexed treatments:

• 2-axis indexed milling - support of 2 fluid axes and insertion axis + 2 indexed axes.
• Supporting circular interpolation in main planes.
• Embedded drilling cycle support.
• Supporting multiple machining planes, translations and rotation of local coordinate systems.
• Supporting helical penetration of the tool into the material.
• Easy machining generation - the operation definition process additionally requires only selecting the appropriate indexed plane.
• All 2x machining and drilling operations are available to the user.
