PLC545 micro-step controller with built-in stepper motor. The system has 2 partitions: PLD86 controller and PLC1Xi controller. Can work as:

    1. conventional stepper motor driver, following the STEP / DIR / ENABLE protocols,
    2. and as a controller, functioning independently of the main program.

CONTROLLER: designed to work with a stepper motor according to a set program and depending on the states of control inputs. Performs hardware acceleration / deceleration of the motor, supports the control program stop / start function, allows for manual motor adjustment (JOG), controls the frequency converter and the state of 8 optical inputs and 5 opto-outputs.

PLC1Xi has its own programmable language based on the C language. It is supported by cycles and variables, conditional and unconditional jumps, allows flexible configuration of the program, and determines its high functionality.

Programming, setting and managing the controller is possible thanks to the dedicated Purelogic R&D program, or through any USB terminal (virtual COM). All configurations are in the controller's permanent memory. After programming the controller, it is fully autonomous - it does not require connecting a computer. Due to the high versatility, it is also possible to update the software.

CONTROLLER: its functional design is based on digital and analogous elements.   It allows communication on such protocols as: STEP, DIR, ENABLE. All signal inputs are opto-isolated and compatible with logic levels: 2.5V, 3.3V, 5V. The use of the AUTO-SLEEP module allows for ergonomic management of the controller, it updates in the absence of STEP signal reading. The PLD86 controller in the PLD545 set is the optimal choice when working with a series of stepper motors (uni- and bipolar) of the PL57 / PL86 series from Purelogic . However, the innovative approach has also enabled the control of engines from other brands.

Correctusing the controller before making any changes and setting connections will be ensured after turning off the power of the controlled system.

Only after installing the power button should the power source be installed (on the controller power line, ~ 220V).

Do not connect the power supply terminal ? to ground, earth, etc.

The state of polarization of supply and connections of control signals should be checked.

During the operation of the controller and the stepper motor, depending on the set / flowing operating current, the components just mentioned may become hot. If the temperature of the engine and radiator controller exceeds 60 ° C, it becomes necessary to provide additional heat dissipation through the fan. For the given stepper motor current, it is not recommended to exceed it without explicit necessity.

Serial connection of modules is prohibited . Only star connection is allowed (power supply is conducted separately for each module).
