PLC5X ADAPTER
PLC5x expansion board that allows you to adapt your computer's functions to CNC control. After connecting the adapter to the LPT port of the computer, it allows communication with stepper motor controllers. It is possible to control up to 5 stepper controllers, or servo motors using STEP, DIR, or ENABLE interfaces. All signals from LPT ports are buffered. The PLC5x module can be connected to any logic port with voltage values: 3.3-5 [V].
The adapter is compatible with CNC programs such as MACH3. It has 5 opto-isolated inputs intended for limit switches and the E-STOP button. It has been designed to support Purelogic controllers, but the innovative approach has also allowed the control of controllers from other brands.

Correct use of the adapter before any changes and setting of connections will be ensured after switching off the controlled system power supply.
