CamWorks is Cam software for three-dimensional design, a new generation application that takes advantage of the SOLIDWORKS interface.
The CAMWorks property and technology operation panel is added inside the SOLIDWORKS window, so that programming takes place directly on models created in SOLIDWORKS -CAMWorks, which is important, it does not have a separate application window. This eliminates the steps and risks associated with moving files. No model conversion means no errors (differences between
CAD model and the solid open in the CAM program.
? CAMWorks uses advanced algorithms that automatically search for technological properties in the model (i.e. pockets, grooves, holes, etc.) and generates toolpaths. A method of manually entering machining parameters is always available.
? CAMWorks offers the possibility of conducting computer simulation of the machining process together with the analysis of the processed solid. This simulation allows you to verify and optimize G-code, save time by testing the program outside the machine and avoid the costs of damage to special tools.
