ZW3D Standard is a CAD program for 3D designing any shapes. ZW3D CAD / CAM is an advanced design tool that facilitates surface modeling. The Standard ZW3D module provides a full translator package. The ZW3D integrated CAD / CAM system also includes all the tools for creating and editing 2D drawings (technical documentation) of parts, assemblies containing BOM (list of materials) and a module for reverse engineering .

  5. Welded constructions


The Standard module of the ZW3D program enables the creation of welded structures. Designing welded structures in the CAD program is effective and very simple, because profiles can be placed on solid edges, flat sketches and 3D sketches, depending on the needs. The standard and higher modules contain a package of tools necessary for building welded structures.

A rich library of ready-made profiles that can be extended with your own shapes and dimensions is an additional advantage of the module. Already when inserting profiles into the project, you can choose one of several ways to automatically trim or do it manually at a later stage of the 3D design.

 

6. Picture embossing


The Image Embossing operation is a unique feature of the ZW3D program and distinguishes the ZW3D program from the competition of other CAD systems. The function is available in the Standard module and other more advanced modules.

Image embossing involves changing the height of the points that stretch the wall, based on the gray scale of the loaded image. The result of this operation is an image "embossed" in the likeness of a relief. Here is an example of how this operation works:

  • Option to automatically insert models from the library into assemblies.

8. Importing models from other 3D systems - 3D data exchange

10. Module to work with point cloud


The Standard module is used to work with files from 3D scanners and gives a wide range of possibilities:

  • Change of the XYZ point cloud to the surface
  • STL edition - STL deformation
  • Points reduction
  • Obtaining edges from STL
