Below are the specifications of an example model that was made for training purposes. Configuration, of course, is virtually any, each time determined individually, according to the needs of the Employer. It applies to both the mechanical part (working area, spindle power, components such as motors, guides, work table, etc.) and software (various control systems and design software supporting the machining process). We design devices of this type in such a way that they are small and mobile, they can easily be moved to different places.
The robust CNC milling machine with a working area of 280 x 380 x 120 [mm] has a positioning accuracy of 0.05 mm. It is distinguished by a reinforced structure, which significantly improves the machine's rigidity and effective linear drives on ball screws , which translates into machining speed. The milling machine is equipped with a tool height sensor which enables precise homing in the z axis and with limit sensors that control that the machine does not try to go outside the working area.
The milling machine will cope well with the processing of plastics, non-ferrous metals, as well as the hardest aluminum alloys. The device works well on engraving on 2D and 3D planes as well as on rotating objects, thanks to the use of an optional 4 axis .
Construction: a movable gate with a through table (along the longitudinal axis we can place any long element), a T-table for convenient fastening of elements, ball screws (made in accuracy class C7, ground raceways), hardened linear guides and linear ball bearings. The machine has been additionally equipped with a replacement DSP controller , and therefore offers two types of control:
- MACH 3 software , which is installed on the control unit (PC or laptop), thanks to which the program interface is displayed on a large monitor screen enabling an in-depth and transparent knowledge of its functions.
- DSP controller - control is done using a remote control, it is a simple and convenient way to control the movement of the milling machine, no computer connection required
In addition, the device was equipped with an oil mist cooling system and chip extraction together with a spindle cap designed by us and made on a 3D printer . The mechanical part has been encapsulated ,thus increasing the operator's safety as well as the comfort and hygiene of work around the entire station.
Additional accessories in the form of a 3D scanner mounted on the milling machine allows you to learn about reverse engineering processes, where based on a real object we get its model in 3D or 2D .
Appropriate CAM software (you can also stock up with us) in conjunction with a rotary axis will allow you to perform machining in full 3D using 4 axes "from beginning to end" - by designing the appropriate model in the CAD program (also available from us), its import to CAM, where the user creates tool paths with the possibility of trajectory simulation and uploading to the control program with which we operate the machine.
