Damper PLZ005-G2 is a protective device in CNC machine control systems. It prevents the influence of the electromagnetic field on the driver and the stepper, which is particularly dangerous when braking and accelerating the engine.

The PLZ005-G2 operating principle is based on comparing input and output voltages. A dangerous situation for the whole system is the increase of the output voltage relative to the input - then the damper switches on the ballast resistor . The effect is to close the voltage difference. Light indicators are helpful here: LED1 is responsible for the presence of voltage at the input, and LED2 is responsible for the operation of the damper module.

Correct use of the damper before any changes and setting of connections will be ensured after turning off the power of the controlled system.
