ViaCAD 2D is an advanced tool that provides full design at the 2D sketch level with a short learning time. Available set of tools, annotations, dimensioning will ensure preparation of the finished project.

Regardless of whether you are designing a new floor plan or creating a mechanical drawing, ViaCAD 2D provides an environment that allows you to focus on design rather than on software. Combined with innovative tools, hints, tips and on-line help, even a novice designer can start working with ViaCAD very quickly.

ViaCAD 2D supports over 275 tools for creating a professional project. It includes, among others, creating and editing points, lines, splines, arcs, circles and ellipses. In addition, it contains full control when rotating, scaling, rounding, chamfering, trimming, breaking or pulling.

It allows you to quickly create smart walls that can be automatically combined with others along with the instant arrangement of windows or doors. In addition, full control over wall parameters such as length, angle, thickness and defined styles of individual walls is ensured.

ViaCAD 2D is one of the first programs to enable 3D data assimilation, it can automatically create precise edge profiles of parts or assemblies. This unique functionality almost completely eliminates the laborious and time-consuming task of developing the production of ready-made drawings made by hand. Using the available tools is not only possible to create accurate 2D drawings, but also to freely manipulate cross-sections or views.

ViaCAD 2D enables data exchange in the form of SAT, IGES, STEP or DXF / DWG.
