MILLING CENTER ATMS 1200X2500 WOOD EXPERT WITH MULTI-AXIS HEAD AND DRILLING UNIT
The ATMS 1200x2500 WOOD EXPERT milling center is a solution dedicated to the furniture industry, perfectly suited for the production of highly accurate and complex workpiecesóin wood, but also in acrylic or aluminum. It has been equipped with a five-axis tilt/rotary head, which allows the machining of an extensive project during a single process: no operator is required to change the workpiece clamping, and there are no necessary stops between the machining of different planes. The head features a high-powered electro-spindle for precise materialórotation within its speed range. An additional drilling unit equipped with sockets for vertical tools, horizontal tools and a cutting blade increases the versatility of application of the entire set.
The machine is distinguished by its rigid and solid design, whichós ensures accurate cutter positioning and rotation. The X-axis is driven by two servo motors, while the two Z-axes - one for the tilt-turn head and the other for the drilling unit - are independent, allowing for increased production efficiency.
The center features a vacuum beam station consisting of 6 beams with a width of 1300 mm. The beams are equipped with vacuum islands and actuators for fast and repeatable clamping of workpiece material.
The machine is equipped with an Automatic Tool Changing system, so it can perfectly handle the workpiece without the need for worker intervention during the process. Implemented software from a reputable brand provides the highest working comfort and simple operation, guaranteeing smooth machining and stable 5-axis operation.
