The prices of the equipment depend on the equipment of the machines and their size.
C2 laser plotters can be purchased for tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of zlotys. Fiber laser cutters are an order of magnitude of several hundred thousand zlotys and their prices increase as the power of the source increases. Plasma cutter prices start at about a hundred thousand zlotys. Waterjet cutters range in price from about half a million zlotys.
It is worth noting that the determinant of the price of the device is the application for which the machine is to prove itself and the expectations of the customer with regard to the final product.
Operation Costs:
The CO2 Laser Plotter: power consumption, cost of replacing the tube, lenses, mirrors.
The Plasma Cutter: higher operating costs than the laser, especially due to the wear and tear of electrodes and plasma nozzles.
Fiber laser cutter: the higher the laser power, the higher the cost due to energy consumption, the cost of consumable parts such as nozzles.
Water cutter: usually higher operating costs due to water consumption. As for power consumption, it largely depends on the selection of the pump. Garnet consumption is also an important factor.
Investment Costs:
CO2 Laser Plotter: lowest investment costs, unless you want to purchase a laser plotter suitable for metal cutting - then the price row is higher, about several hundred thousand zlotys.
Plasma cutter: usually lower investment costs than fiber laser cutter or waterjet cutter.
Fiber laser cutter: large investment costs.
Waterjet cutter: requires a larger investment than plasma cutter, but may be more cost-effective for certain applications.
